India Trade Fair Attracts International Buyers
The second India International Pet Trade Fair, held Feb. 29-March 2 in New Delhi, attracted buyers from all corners of India—as well as 100 buyers from abroad.
Exhibitors represented India, Singapore, China and Poland, according to Creature Companions Magazine, the event organizer.
Because the fair attracted numerous consumers, organizers now plan to incorporate more business-to-consumer components—including product sales—into next year’s show.
Other highlights included the launch of a comprehensive directory listing various entities of the Indian pet industry and related services.
The location and dates of the 2009 show were not set at press time. [June 2008 PET AGE]
