CIPS 2008 Is Set for November
Trade buyers from around the world will convene Nov. 6-9 at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing for the 12th annual China International Pet Show.
The show’s 30,000-square-meter exhibit space was booked at press time, with 355 confirmed exhibitors and 77 on a waiting list, according to organizers China Great Wall Exhibition Co. and Nürnberg Global Fairs.
“Our exhibitors offer professional buyers from Europe and the [United States] an excellent survey of products from the Chinese pet and aquaria industry,” said Hendrik Engelking, event director at Nürnberg Global Fairs. “Only CIPS actually offers such a comprehensive overview—not without reason do we speak of China’s most important trade platform for the pet supplies market.”
An estimated 20,000 buyers from China and abroad are expected to attend the show, where they will find products and services from food and grooming aids to remedies and instruments for veterinary medicine to toys and technical equipment. While the exhibition has traditionally focused on products for dogs, cats and small animals, it also will showcase plenty of items for members of the aquarium trade.
