Hounds Town USA Opens Dog Daycare and Boarding Facility in Hawthorne, New Jersey

Hounds Town USA, the daycare and boarding concept where everything they do is for the dogs, recently announced the opening of its newest location in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Situated in the Southeast area of the city at 100 Braen Avenue, the new Hounds Town location will be the go-to spot for trusted pet care across the region. Spearheaded by multi-unit owner and New Jersey native, Phillip Michael, the new location officially opened earlier this month.

“Years ago, my wife and I had to scramble to find reliable pet care for our dog when we were leaving for our honeymoon – this was when I realized I wanted to provide my community with a trustworthy place for pet owners to leave their dogs,” said Michael. “When looking into different options, Hounds Town checked off so many boxes for me and, unlike other avenues, the support team made me feel like I was truly a part of a family. I’ve always expressed interest in wanting to grow further with the brand and felt like now was the perfect time. It’s all about dogs just being dogs and I aim to convey that same mentality to the Hawthorne community.”

Before joining the Hounds Town family, Michael successfully ran his own real estate business, NJ North Development, for over 10 years alongside his father. After opening his first Hounds Town location in Hillside in 2020, Michael knew he wanted to keep growing and bring the brand’s interactive experience to more communities throughout the state. Within both his personal and professional life, Michael has a longstanding commitment to giving back to his community and actively participates in many initiatives through his businesses. He plans to carry this mentality to his new location and is eager to connect with owners and their beloved companions throughout the area.
